Hello friends, today I will show you how to make aloo roti/Indian potato bread. Sometimes people are not perfect in making paranthas. so my method of making aloo parantha or roti is easy to make. In Indian homes, Aloo Parantha is a famous breakfast. Newly weds are also not perfect in making paranthas so they can also make in my way. Even on Indian Highways, in Dhabas(hotel) we find this breakfast or as a Brunch. I am serving with green chutney. You can find this recipe on my channel. I have added oil in chutney to preserve for many days. Boiled Potato should not be hot. When they cool down then, mash it and make a smooth dough. Ingredients are mentioned in the slideshow. Mash Potatoes Add refined flour and all ingredients. Chat masala is homemade. you can click on the link given above. Add baking powder. Mix well and make a dough. Water is not required because potatoes and maida will make a good dough. Apply 1 tsp oil on dough to give it a smooth texture to dough. Leave for 5-7 minute covered. Now make roti by applying maida on palms and on rolling pin too. Roll roti lightly as you seen in the video. Dust flour as and when required. Pan is hot. Apply ghee on pan and place roti on the pan. Keep flame on low. When it turns brown then I will flip. Apply ghee/clarified butter on top and then flip. Press gently. Place a small bowl on plate and place roti on it because if you put roti on plate then its moisture will make it soggy. Prepare all rotis in same way and serve hot with chutney or pickle. Aloo Roti/parantha are very soft like cotton.
