Hey what’s up? This is El Tiro. In this tutorial,
we’re gonna learn a gliding concept, broken down with strobing and ticking. This is actually
part two, part one, if you haven’t seen that, it’s gonna be right here, click on that it’s
to catch up to speed. If you are ready to go, let’s loosen up, let’s get started.
Using the concept in the first tutorial of kind of running in place, we’re gonna do the
same exact thing except we’re gonna be chopping up our motions of our feet which will naturally
gonna chop up all of our body which can define our strobing or ticking effect.
So we start with our left foot in front, right foot in back on its toe. I’m gonna do little
mini hops and I’m gonna switch my feet’s place. I’m gonna go, 1 2 3 4 5 6.
When I push that, they’re gonna switch. I will do the same thing. I’m using 6 or 5 or
maybe 7 steps in between doesn’t have to be exact, as long as you have that consistency
throughout the footworks. So again, I’m switching, one two three four five one two three four
five one two three four five one two three four five
I think this is pretty simple. If you’re having trouble, just go slow one two three four five
one two three four five and then try to pick up your pace. And then when you had it down,
you can start to get tonight’s rhythm. And right now, I’m just doing a running or marching
stance as I step. Once you had that down, you can add your arms,
and here’s a couple variations that have a really cool holistic kind of ticking or strobing
effect. So first one, I’m gonna break down my running.
And every single step, I’m gonna be switching them, kind of in that strobe light effects.
I’m gonna go one two three four five one two three four five I’m gonna do those with my
arm and my legs. It looks like this one two three four five six one two three four five
six. And I can keep it continuous. Next one we can do is just moving your arms
up and then moving your arms down with that choppiness, okay? Make sure you’re really
flexed and so you can have that really jagged, kinda strobed trick. Ready? Let’s do it.
The last one that I’m
gonna train you is actually doing a ticking or strobing like of wave. So I’m just gonna
break down my body parts for my waves, I’ll go one two three four five one two three four
five one two three four five. Combining it, it looks like this.
Alright, so that concludes this week’s part one and part two for combining gliding with
other styles of popping like waving and strobing. If you wanna learn more about learning how
